Hydrogen

Hydrogen has atomic number #1 and atomic mass of 1. This means that there is 1 electron, 1 proton and 0 neutrons.

Hydrogen is an odorless gas at room temperature.
It is a non-metal.
The melting point of hydrogen is: -259.34°C
The boiling point of hydrogen is: -252.87°C
Hydrogen is in the First Period and First Group.
There is one electron in its outer shell. It only has one electron, so only uses the first orbit.
The density of hydrogen is 0.08988 g/L.

Hydrogen was discovered around 1671 by scientists. In 1766 it was considered an actual element by Henry Cavendish. It was discovered when they noticed bubbles being produced from iron fillings and acid. It produces hydrogen gas. This gas produced was flammable.
Hydrogen is found in most stars. It is the gas that is burning.
Hydrogen is Flammable and is a very reactive element. It reacts with other elements to form compounds such as ammonia and water.
